My Cheeky Leather Overload

Well hello there everyone. I sure hope you all had a great weekend, whether you were out and about or just rebooting at home. I had tons of fun shooting this look with Faiza, after a coffee run and a few errands we found a nice, quite, little place and just simply stood in the middle of the street taking pictures.  

My inspiration for this outfit was an edgy, biker kinder chick, which explains all the leather. Over my jeans I wore a black mini skirt to add length and another layer. Tucked in half my shirt to make the look more messy and causal. A pair of plain black, thick soled boots, which definitely screams biker. To top everything off I knew I had to wear a peak cap, so all I did was put a plain black scarf underneath and twirled it into a bun at the back. 

P.S If you do not like or can not wear a lot of face or eye make up like me, then try putting on a bright lipstick, it looks like you 'tried' a little. haha That's basically me explaining why I have such naked eyes in these photos.

Hijaabi goes..."Gangster"

    بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم   السلام عليكم Who said hijaabi's cannot go gangster? The baggy pants and shirt is the perfect way to style yourself as a Muslimah. It is not too revealing and just rather effortless. So if you look at it, this outfit is quite convenient. This specific look is inspired by Chris Brown from one of his music videos.  I am wearing a black tracksuit pants, paired with a long white tank top, black biker jacket with some cool studded detail to add some extra   edge. Perfect for the cold weather we having. A big chunky gold necklace to 'girl-a-fy' it a bit and not forgetting the signature check shirt. Once again proving that any hijaabi can rock any look. Cherry Blossom Couture

Between work and well more work I seriously have no free time, I definitely have new found respect for people working in retail. Moving on to what this post is really about, Cherry Blossom Couture. I had the honor of seeing the collection before it was released and I was astonished. The material itself is of high quality and managers to flow perfectly on ones body without being revealing in any way. The inspiring women behind this beautiful collection goes by the name of Fatimah Meyer. Mrs Meyer says she never really grew fond of the western worlds style in clothing but instead always enjoyed designing her own clothes, this way she stays covered and modest.
