Haya Collective : soft pink safar robe

There is a particular routine you follow when coming into contact with new people. Normally, this brings up a few recurring and obvious questions.; "What is your name? Where are you from? Where do you work?", once all these questions have been answered, my family member/friend/colleague feels the need to mention that I am a blogger.

This got me thinking for someone who is wearing this 'blogger badge' so proudly I should definitely start posting more frequently.

 Which leads me to the presentation of this wickedly cool post featuring a beautiful robe from Haya Collective.

I'm always looking for new modest fashion brands to try, so when the Haya Collective team reached out to me I was extremely excited to try out their brand. 

Here in Cape Town spring is in the air and summer is around the corner, you know you are going to be rocking those pastel, flowy garments. With that being said I absolutely fell in love with HC's soft pink safar robe. It's basically a kimono finished off with these gorgeous pearl embellishments. They come in different colours and patterns so visit their online store asap!

 Kimonos are seriously so easy to wear, whether you are throwing it over a pair of jeans and white t-shirt, or over a cute flowy dress they just add a comfy, chic look to any outfit.

 Today I styled my safar robe in a formal way by slipping on some peather leggings, a white pencil skirt, grey polar neck and lastly some black boots.

Hijaabi goes..."Gangster"

    بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم   السلام عليكم Who said hijaabi's cannot go gangster? The baggy pants and shirt is the perfect way to style yourself as a Muslimah. It is not too revealing and just rather effortless. So if you look at it, this outfit is quite convenient. This specific look is inspired by Chris Brown from one of his music videos.  I am wearing a black tracksuit pants, paired with a long white tank top, black biker jacket with some cool studded detail to add some extra   edge. Perfect for the cold weather we having. A big chunky gold necklace to 'girl-a-fy' it a bit and not forgetting the signature check shirt. Once again proving that any hijaabi can rock any look. Cherry Blossom Couture

Between work and well more work I seriously have no free time, I definitely have new found respect for people working in retail. Moving on to what this post is really about, Cherry Blossom Couture. I had the honor of seeing the collection before it was released and I was astonished. The material itself is of high quality and managers to flow perfectly on ones body without being revealing in any way. The inspiring women behind this beautiful collection goes by the name of Fatimah Meyer. Mrs Meyer says she never really grew fond of the western worlds style in clothing but instead always enjoyed designing her own clothes, this way she stays covered and modest.
