Eid is near...

Eid is near sisters...
Let me start by saying that Eid outfits can be both exciting and fun but at the same time it can be rather stressful. 

 You are tired and hungry, the last thing you want to do is walk around in a shopping mall packed with people and delicious smelling foods. What makes this journey even more draining is when you have no idea what you are looking for. Too much people, just crowded and you are trying to match colours or trying to find something to cover up more, something that is longer or less "figure hugging".

 I feel like I should also mention that it is the last ten days of this glorious month, so we should not lose focus on how important this month is. Eid shopping should not take up the rest of this month. Personally I take one day for fabric shopping and another day for accessories. Don't get me wrong, I can also take awhile on deciding what I want.  

 In conclusion I decided to do a quick little photo-shoot for you lovely ladies. Showing you cute, fun and stylish outfits. Honestly these outfits were just so easy to put together and took no time at all. Literally made them up as I went along and I am fond of them all.

 I hope you all are inspired.
I hope that I made at least one of your lives a little easier this Eid. 

                                         Outfit no.1 : The Peplum


Here I have a super effortless flare chiffon skirt.

A peplum style sequinned jacket, which has the same colour edging as my skirt.
I have a patterned grey and black under scarf and over that is a plain shinny sliver scarf.
For your shoes you can go with black, sliver or grey.

*Please note that the piece of fur I have in the first picture is not real.

Hijaabi goes..."Gangster"

    بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم   السلام عليكم Who said hijaabi's cannot go gangster? The baggy pants and shirt is the perfect way to style yourself as a Muslimah. It is not too revealing and just rather effortless. So if you look at it, this outfit is quite convenient. This specific look is inspired by Chris Brown from one of his music videos.  I am wearing a black tracksuit pants, paired with a long white tank top, black biker jacket with some cool studded detail to add some extra   edge. Perfect for the cold weather we having. A big chunky gold necklace to 'girl-a-fy' it a bit and not forgetting the signature check shirt. Once again proving that any hijaabi can rock any look. Between work and well more work I seriously have no free time, I definitely have new found respect for people working in retail. Moving on to what this post is really about, Cherry Blossom Couture. I had the honor of seeing the collection before it was released and I was astonished. The material itself is of high quality and managers to flow perfectly on ones body without being revealing in any way. The inspiring women behind this beautiful collection goes by the name of Fatimah Meyer. Mrs Meyer says she never really grew fond of the western worlds style in clothing but instead always enjoyed designing her own clothes, this way she stays covered and modest.
