Kimono In Winter

For my look I decided to go with a combination of sporty and edgy. The shoes gives that really comfortable look and adds a nice pop of colour. While the black kimono and biker jacket makes it more winter. Since I wore this outfit on a nice sunny day,we are still getting colder days, so adding a few more 'underneath' layers to this look won't hurt.
I chose pink for my t-shirt because there is a little bit of pink in my kimono and added the same shade of pink onto my scarf with a little chiffon, headband braid I made.
You can easily make this look more 'formal' but switching the biker jacket for a blazer, the jeans for leggings and a skirt, and the sneakers for boots or heels.

Hello everyone. So summer is officially over and winter is upon us. As you can see by the title of this post, we are going to speak about kimonos.This is something we all probably own whether you were on 'trend' this summer or just bought one because they were smacking you in the face as soon as you walked into a store, kimonos grew on all of us. It is that one thing you can just throw over a pair of jeans and a plain white t-shirt. It is truly the perfect beach, summer wardrobe item. So the real question is, if it is so summer perfect why talk about it now?
I am going to show you a super easy way to still rock that kimono all winter. All you simply have to do is pair your kimono with a short jacket or blazer, the shorter the better because then your kimono will flow gracefully in the wind and you will still be covered. You do not want to wear a long\meduim length coat with a long kimono because the coat will end up cutting off that 'flow' and it's not going to look too great. All that is left to do is select a plain colour t-shirt, preferably one that matches the colour of your kimono. A pair of jeans and some comfy boots or sneakers.
